Last night I vacuumed and dusted before I went to bed. I do this occasionally to lessen Monday morning’s mundane chores so I can straight away start playing in my studio. I knew it was going to be another gorgeous day so I opened every openable window in the house. By ten o’clock I watched my cat sneeze at least a dozen times in a row. I, myself, felt a tad congested. Then I looked at my dining room glass topped table. It was green. I was as panicked as if the house was on fire. I ran from room to room, shutting all the doors and windows, then spent the next two hours vacuuming the furniture and re-dusting and changing the air-filters in both air-conditioning systems to clean the air in here. So much for jumping into my crafts.
Bowtie is rolled up in a ball in my studio sleeping it off. I decided to take some snaps of some things I found buried deep in piles from last week’s “big clean.” I certainly can’t go outside.
