This was a very quick sketch from a Google photo of the Mexican Wolf (Lobo).  Painting took about 40 minutes, mostly waiting for darks to dry.

    You’ve really captured the spirit of this wonderful animal. It’s his (her) eyes. I know some artists struggle with eyes as they can be tricky to add the ‘life’ to them. But you’ve nailed it. Looking at his face and the way you’ve painted it, I can see into the reality of what’s going on inside his (her) mind right at that moment.

    His snout, also, is perfection. Very well done. I LOVE it.
